The beachside towns of Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Malibu offer a laidback, Los Angeles by-the-sea experience. Not enough sea and sand? Head further South, to iconic Orange County, and the sophisticated seaside towns of Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. For the surfers out there, there is no place better to catch a gnarly wave than Huntington Beach.

LA is also mad for sport! It now hosts not one, but two NFL teams in the Rams and the Chargers with both teams moving into their incredible new stadium in Inglewood. The city also has two baseball teams in the Dodgers and Angels, as well as two basketball teams, with the legendary Lakers and sometimes forgotten brothers, the Clippers who both share the Staples Center. If ice-hockey is more of your thing, then you can always catch a Kings game in the same arena.
