There is no place like it! From its endless skyscrapers and recognizable movie locations to its diverse food scene and trendy nightlife spots, this city truly has it all. Whether it’s a whistle-stop tour of the island of Manhattan, or a more laid back trip, taking in the surrounding boroughs of hipster clad Brooklyn, diverse Queens and the further afield Staten Island, the ‘Big Apple’ offers unlimited options.

Don’t forget, NYC is the sports capital of the world! Whatever time of the year it is, there is always something going on.

Interested in seeing an  American football game? Then head over to East-Rutherford, New Jersey and watch a Giants or Jets game. For something a little less 'rough', head up to the Bronx and catch a baseball game watching the world-famous New York Yankees, or their local rivals the New York Mets (who play in Queens). If basketball’s your thing then surely a must will be to take in a Knicks’ game at the iconic Madison Square Garden, which also hosts the New York Rangers ice hockey team. 

One of our favourite things to do was to walk across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge across to the fashionable neighbourhood of Dumbo. There are a number of chic drinking and dining establishments this side of the East River, as well as the Insta-famous photo location of the Manhattan Bridge.
