I founded Travelstylers with my wife Jade during the COVID years of 2020, and five years later we have genuinely gone from strength to strength. I absolutely love selling travel. There is something so satisfying about putting together a tailor-made holiday for someone, especially the complicated ones that need a bit of creativity. Whether it is a big multi-stop adventure, a dream honeymoon or a quick escape, I always want it to feel personal and just right for the person I am planning it for.

I am also a big sports fan, especially when it comes to anything in the States. That love for American sports ended up becoming Home Run Travel, my own baseball travel company where I host UK baseball fans on organised tours across the USA. Visiting ballparks, exploring new cities and travelling with groups of people who love the sport as much as I do has been one of the best parts of my job.

I am also a bit of an AV geek. I get far too excited about points redemptions, airline reward schemes and aircraft types. I even know which planes to choose or avoid, which some people find helpful and others find slightly worrying. Either way, it definitely helps when it comes to planning the perfect holiday.

Q&A

Favourite holiday destination so far?

South Africa. Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I proposed to Jade on top of Table Mountain, so it naturally holds a special place in my heart. Add in the incredible Winelands, the spectacular Garden Route and the once in a lifetime safari experiences, from iconic Kruger to the Eastern Cape, and it is a country that never stops surprising you.

One dream destination you would love to visit next?

South America is still at the top of my list. I would love to visit Argentina. Buenos Aires looks like such a fun and lively city, especially to see a Boca Juniors match. Then you have Iguazu Falls to the north, the Mendoza winelands and the wild beauty of Patagonia.

A top personal travel tip you swear by?

When flying back into London Heathrow, always try to sit on the right-hand side of the plane. You often get an amazing view over London as you come in to land. It is a brilliant way to finish a trip back into our capital city.
